I'm also working on the early pre and post NP designation of the NP, specifically 1880-1920, for some specific subjects and topics I find interesting, such as the effort for the NP designation, an 1896 USGS expedition, the first USGS topographic maps, early NPS maps, the laws designating and governing the NP, among others.
