People often ask me what I like to photograph and I find that I am most drawn to what I call "impromptu still-lifes"...solitary scenes that I happen upon that beg to be recorded. Usually these are scenes that are quiet and timeless that may show a human presence but no human to date it. I believe that photography is about ideas, not equipment or technology. It is about the light and how we see things. I am a big fan of lo-fi plastic and pinhole cameras, film, and using historic processes to create my images.
